Join Dorene Petersen, ACHS President and Master Gardener and ACHS SVP Erika Yigzaw as they discuss and begin to harvest Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) for distillation. Other clips from this lavender harvest and distillation include a range of uses for lavender, for herbal medicine, aromatherapy, home use, and more. Filmed in the ACHS herbal teaching garden at the campus of the American College of Healthcare Sciences (Formerly Australasian College of Health Sciences) in Portland Oregon.
