  1. Anyone know how to make an essential oil from:

Chamaecyparis obtusa (Hinoki, a Japanese cypress),
    Carmel Ceanothus,
    Gnaphalium californicum (California Everlasting),
    Hierochloe odorata (sweet grass)

    Thank you,
    Elizabeth Lerer

  3. Excellent Video. Clear, concise, spritual. For those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. This video allows us to get a peek through the veil. Thank you. Peace & blessings.

  10. what the hell is going on? i thought it was about distilling good smelling oils…not a spiritual journey and mystic mumbo jumbo.healing and well being…come on…atleast the huge flasks were cool…oh..i mean the crystaline spheres, sorry

  11. yes and no, what you said is what a fool learns alchemy for. you will learn nothing, and loss everything.

  12. I agree that perfumery isn’t alchemy, but that term has a very broad meaning. It’s hard to even find a modern alchemist who does real lab alchemy because most “alchemists” if today only believe in meditative alchemy. They need to read the book “Real Alchemy”, and they need to check out my website over 100 photos of my lab alchemy! lol

  13. i agree, new age crap. alchemy is still chemistry of an earlier age with different philosophical meaning.

  14. Oil Extraction via Steaming herbs just above the condensor is not alchemy atleast not in the Orginal or defineing defaition of Alchemy, Alchemy has more to do with Geologie and metalurgy via methoids of chemistry, People calling this Alchemy are “wiccans” or other such newage crap, Alchemy is not about brewing potions or essences (smelling oils)

  15. I’m into peace, love and nature but this clip is just sickly. “cradle of harmonic perfection”, “chamber of life-giving love” Oh please? If he loves the plants so much, why does he kill them and stick them in jars of boiling water instead of leaving them in their natural environment to grow and reproduce. Money, that’s why. It’s a perfume advert “Man”.
An alchemist is one in search of either a) a way to turn base metals into gold, b)a universal solvent, or c) the elixir of life.

  17. Omg… hippie stuff – I like the 3 minutes in the end where we get down to earth, and hear oppinion of less-hippied out people. I guess I just overdosed on hippies and burning man people here lately ;) sorry about that. Nice production though – would have loved more techical details though…
