  2. I think the black mold on the window sill could destroy all of the other elements

  3. I would put some caulk in the cracks in the window and soften the intrusion of cold air into the room.

  4. Hope the man does not have a sex life, because two basic rules in the bedroom is having a rounded back of the bed, is it is straigh like he has, you will have a straight and boring sexlife. You should never hang an object like that heavy image over the bed, because it creates fear during the night of the object falling in your head. take the frame off or something..
Det edges he has made quick fixes to, is better to just tear down, rebuild and paint.

  6. hi there, i’m trying to rearrange my bedroom but was curious if the hanging crystal, where beam is, will work? sad to say i have 3 beams in my room. we were planning to rearrange bed in parallel with one of the beam. is that a good idea? what do you suggest? any advice would be appreciated. thanks!

btw, the room looks beautiful. love the colors you used.

  7. Many thanks for watching, and your comments are very thoughtful and beautifully prescribed. I’ll be sure to pass them on to the couple.

  8. Thanks much for the kind words! The beam is interesting, to say the least. The guy who sleeps under it has had health problems this year (kidney stones; yikes!), so the couple will experiment with putting gliders under the legs of the bed and moving the bed over slightly away from the beam while sleeping, then glide the bed back so the traffic flow is easier during the day.

  10. A beam above a bed will create marital or relationship problems to the couple who sleep beneath it.

The crystal may soothe, but will not adequately address this.

I suggest replacing the mountain painting which implies (and therefore, to the Chinese mind will bring about) a sense of heaviness with perhaps a poetry scroll or character for love, unity, harmony, etc., or one depicting a water scene, to “diffuse” the “weight” of the beam above.

    Beautiful bedroom, by the way.

  13. I guess big cities aren’t called the big smoke for nothing! Or is that Chicago. Anyways I found when my landlord replaced my windows with double glazing, though plastic looking sills, they wipe clean like a dream! Saves on painting sills yearly.

  14. Good catch, and thanks for sharing! We’ll let the homeowners know. The New York air in this neighborhood is often filled with soot and literally chunks of black from the boilers in the area. The bedroom drapes have already been replaced as they became filled with the black dirt and weren’t washed properly (they shrunk beyond belief!).

  15. I have been reading up on Feng Shui for a while am yet to practice it fully. This room is very neat, however paying attention to detail there is an aspect which your camera picked up on the windowsill which spoils the effect. The windowsill needs to have the dark areas, which look like ingrained dirt cleaned, filled, painted if wood. The landlord could be contacted to make these areas good but if not do it yourself. Thanks for the video.

  22. my bedroom door(on helpful people side) opens and left side is a wall (one end of closet). and you walk in kind of diagonally.
should i change the bagua to accomodate that, which would make it the knowledge section or keep the bagua on travel friend side? im confused.

  24. Right, there should be no heavy items hanging above your head in Fneg Shui and that includes pictures.

I don’t think a tiger is a relaxing image, and the door should ideally NOT open straight onto the bed as someone could open the door and immediately see you.
The door should be hung the other way if possible so that you are protected from energy rushing in as it opens.

  25. you can place pictures above your bed – it should be relaxing (note – dont have pictures of waterfalls cause the vibrations will trouble your sleep) dont place pictures of family or relatives in the room either Mirrors above or facing bring disaster. Note in the video that its mountains above the bed which bring stability. try and make it harmonious and relaxing to feng shui in your own way.. just follow the basic principles of traditional feng shui
