Genealogy On-The-Cheap Episode 4 “Searching on Google”
July 24, 2010 on 5:10 pm | In Genealogy | 3 Comments
The fourth installment of a genealogy how-to series I’m making. I’ve been doing genealogy for over half of my life, and have a database with over 69000 people in it. I’ve also hardly spent a penny on it. I have found that free software and free databases are just as useful as the expensive genealogy services. This episode details how to use the search engine Google to further your genealogy research. It also shows me getting side tracked by an unexpected discovery.
