  7. Saw him BB KING and Buddy at the Beacon. kid is 9 now and BETTER!! It’s hard not to be jealous but the degree of jealousy is minor. I think what people want to think is you need a lifetime of trouble to play the blues.Also, we are at so many kid things, we want Adult swim time.

  14. Sorry, meant that as a reply to rokrol. I saw him in Boston yesterday — certainly heard no one calling for him to get off the stage; instead, while BB King’s people were setting up, everyone was trying to figure out who he was. Great show. Great performance. And the kid’s more than a technician, which counts for a lot.

    I think standing ovations during Buddy’s and BB’s set means that the audience enjoyed the kid….

    Judging by the reaction of BB and Buddy (whose opinion is probably a bit more reliable than a 20 year old jealous guy ), I would say that the kid has genuine skills.

  21. Saw this guy with BB and Buddy last night. He stayed for about 3 songs and was annoying as hell.

    People started yelling for him to get off stage.

  24. dude the kid is eight…..i’m teaching a 7 year old now who is on the verge of quitting because he can’t get one power chord….he has a good 60 years or so to develop style
