Animal trances are diff. from humans. humans are aware they are in a trance e.g. they are conscious., self aware the trance is happening, unless they are in a semi conscious or unconscious state. Animals are not aware they are in state apart from their normal state. Animal trances are often self often self protective mechanisms or stunning effects that make them incapable of their usual behaviour/ traits.
