    I would love to see this guy get the same reaction if he didn’t use the tone of voice he was using and the body language he was using. Only 7% of what we process when we listen to someone speak is the words (that would fall under punch line). The other 93% falls under the tone of speaking(38%) and body language (55%). Learn your stuff before you speak again, thanks.

  9. No, that’s inaccurate. Derren uses very advanced forms of psychology and mentalism tricks to attain the results that he gets. He also probably goes through a bunch of failed attempts to get to the successful attempts, as no one can do this flawlessly, but it’s not fake by any means. Anyone can do this.

  12. This video is completely wrong. The reason people laugh is because the punch line is the immitation. Thats not anchoring. If it just does it again without a punch line people will not laugh.

    Also most of Derren stuff is fake so I wouldnt use him as an example.

  16. this video accomplishes only one thing : to show how U.S. presidents are stupid or crook , which is true . but the rest explained poorly and wrongly . every shit someone does and other imitates doesn’t qualify as an anchoring. yes, D.Brown was anchoring that lovely lady , but impersonation of Bush is just impersonation . Has nothing to do with anchoring at strict sense taught by creators of NLP

  23. Very good explanation. Many people do indeed believe that anchors is some sort of hypnotic wizardry. I always explain we anchor continuously. You hear a song during a nice summer holiday every time you hear it you will feel that same emotion only a little more dull.
    When you smell a school building’s interior you are warped back to your schooldays.

    Anchors are normal human behaviour we subconsciously create. But you can also consciously create them.
