  8. Usui Shiki Ryoho IS the traditional Reiki. The depth of Reiki healing practised, depends on the level of spiritual development of the person using it.

  10. You can contact Barin Mehta directly and just ask him to accept you as Reiki student, I have sent a personal message to you regarding that. I have had several online Reiki attunements from him, and have had good results. I have also visited him in India, as well as he has been here in Australia for a one month visit (2008). I can highly recommend him as a healer and mentor.

  13. Thanks for your comment, I feel my hands are blessed in the process of healing, and do not feel they are contaminated by the healing process. But if I feel some imprints are clinging in my mind, I use the Reiki dry bathing technique.

  14. people who practise reiki, i find it always important to mentally cleanse my hands of anything unwanted. i just go into my mind and see myself cleansing my hands in a flame of a candle after practising on someone, i do this everytime and feel it keeps me protected and healthy from ailments.
