Who is the bass player in this video? William Mysterious from the Rezillos came back to help out for a while when The Revillos were changing personnel around this time. Is it Mysterious?

No sign of Kid Krupa in the video. Wasn’t he recruited before Vince? I think the line up I saw at the Edinburgh Astoria (May 1980) included Krupa and Mysterious. Around the time Scuba Scuba was released.

Hi, reading THE RHYTHM METHOD by Nicky Forbes at the moment and it says that Kid was about the time of Vince, if not slightly before, so who knows. I was at the Astoria, no longer there, in Edinburgh, have some great b/w photos, i sent them down to Nicky not that long ago.

Nicky used to take me to alot of the gigs and i became very friendly with them all, i loved it it was great fun and met some top people, took me to London and Nicky used to teach me drums, the band had rehersals and auditions in my Mum and Dads hotel in Leamington terrace. Ahhhh those were the days. Brilliant, lovely people who were a joy to be with.

The Rhythm Method is a great read. I bought it about 6 months ago and have started dipping in and out of it for a second time.
The tale about how the Scuba Scuba demo / cassette ending up being used for the single release is one of my favourites – Always wondered why Fay sounded like she was on helium. The re-recorded version from 1994 does the song more justice.

yep it is dennis (aka Vince) i know this cos i knew him way back then
