Family History: An Easy Way to Create Genealogy “Family Books” that You Can Share with Your Family
March 6, 2010 on 5:05 pm | In Genealogy | 2 Comments
A Treasure Maps Genealogy amberskyline.com newsletter reader wrote: “Was wondering if you could help me? Im frustrated and dont know who to turn to. Ive looked on your website, but could not find an answer to my question. I have Family Tree Maker which is great for storing all my information. Some of my lines are 30 generations back. I have been collecting info for about 40 years, wow how time flies. I have put together books for some of my relatives years ago, but that was when I only had 6 or 7 generations back. I want to put another book together but want it to be easy to read and not confusing. I tried some of the reports in Family Tree Maker and I was getting confused after a few generations. I want to eventually include pictures, other siblings and stories about each person, but want to start with just the basic facts and just ancestors only. Do you have anything to help me decide how to start and organize such a book or know where I could go on the internet to find such information? Is there a code system that works the best? I appreciate your feedback.” This video gives a solution to this problem. You can see the full article at: amberskyline.com

NLP – Eye Accessing Cues: Get Inside Someone’s Mind
March 4, 2010 on 2:07 pm | In NLP | 22 Comments
Jamie Smart from Salad Ltd demonstrating eye accessing cues and gestures. This is a great tool for helping people work out how they are dealing with certain issues. Is it an image, sound or feeling? Are they remembering something or constructing something? Once you’ve figured that part out you can move on to tackle the problem. For example is someone using internal dialogue for good or to beat themselves up? Are they constructing negative images that are holding them back? This clip was taken from Salad’s NLP Practitioner Course 2006. The next NLP Practitioner starts in November, for more information go to salad.infusionsoft.com
